About JEE Main
JEE Main is conducted by NTA for admission to NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs, and serves as the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced. Held in two sessions per year (January and April), the best NTA score is considered for final ranking. It has three papers: B.E./B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.Planning.

Passed / appearing Class 12 with Physics & Mathematics plus Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology
Number of Attempts
Both sessions in the same year; up to 3 consecutive years
Nationality
Indian citizens, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and foreign nationals
