About NEET UG
NEET UG is India's single national-level medical entrance examination conducted by NTA. It is the mandatory qualifying exam for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, B.V.Sc. & AH, and allied undergraduate medical programs across all government and private medical colleges in India, including AIIMS and JIPMER. Also required for Indian students seeking admission to foreign medical institutions.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
Minimum 17 years as on December 31, 2026; no upper age limit
Educational Qualification
Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English
Minimum Marks
50% aggregate in PCB (General); 45% (Gen-PwD); 40% (SC/ST/OBC)
Nationality
Indian citizens, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and foreign nationals
