Fun Friday is VidyaVriti's weekly quiz competition exclusively for SSC CGL aspirants. Every week, registered students get a chance to compete, test their preparation, and win exciting prizes — all for free.

This is not just a quiz — it's a performance benchmark tailored to the SSC CGL syllabus. Compete with fellow SSC CGL aspirants across India, discover where you stand, and walk away with real rewards.

2. Event Dates & Schedule

Each edition of Fun Friday spans one week, giving participants enough time to schedule and attempt the test at their convenience.

3. How to Participate

Participation is straightforward. Follow these steps to register and attempt the Fun Friday test:

1. Create a free account on VidyaVriti or log in to your existing account.
2. Navigate to the "Fun Friday" section from your dashboard.
3. Attempt the test anytime between Friday, June 5 – Wednesday, June 11, 2026.
4. Click "Start Test" — the 60-minute countdown begins immediately.
5. Submit your answers before the timer expires. Unanswered questions count as incorrect.
6. View your score and preliminary rank immediately after submission.

4. Exam Format

The Fun Friday test is designed to mirror the SSC CGL Tier 1 exam pattern. Expect questions across all four subjects of the SSC CGL Tier 1 syllabus.

Question Distribution

Marking Scheme

• Correct answer: +2 marks
• Wrong answer: −0.5 marks (negative marking applies)
• Unanswered / skipped: 0 marks (no penalty)
• Maximum possible score: 200 marks
• Minimum possible score: −50 marks (if all wrong)

5. Ranking & Scoring

Rankings are determined transparently using a two-tier system that is fair and objective.

Primary Criterion — Total Marks

Participants are ranked in descending order of total marks scored. The participant with the highest score gets Rank 1.

Tie-Breaker — Time Taken

If two or more participants score the same total marks, the one who completed the test in lesser time gets the higher rank. Time is measured from the moment the participant clicks “Start Test” to the moment of final submission.

Tie-Breaker Rules (Extended)

• Time is recorded automatically by the VidyaVriti platform to the nearest second.
• If both score and time are identical (extremely rare), rank will be assigned alphabetically by registered name.
• Auto-submitted tests (timer expired) are treated as valid submissions; time = 60 minutes exactly.
• Participants who experience platform-side technical issues (documented by VidyaVriti) may receive rank consideration at VidyaVriti's sole discretion.

Result Announcement

Results will be announced on June 15, 2026 via email to the registered email address of each winner.

6. Prizes & Rewards

Prize Tiers — Edition 1

Important Notes on Prizes

• The specific model, brand, color, and variant of the smartphone (Rank 1), smartwatch (Rank 2), and earbuds (Rank 3) are decided entirely by VidyaVriti.
• Winners cannot request substitutions or exchange prizes for cash or alternative products.
• Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash equivalents under any circumstances.
• VidyaVriti reserves the right to modify prize structure across future editions.
• Prizes are subject to applicable taxes; winners are responsible for any tax liability on prizes received.

7. Eligibility Criteria

Fun Friday Edition 1 is open exclusively to SSC CGL aspirants registered on VidyaVriti who meet the following criteria:

• Must be a registered and verified user on the VidyaVriti platform preparing for SSC CGL.
• Must be a resident of India at the time of participation.
• Must be 13 years of age or older. Participants under 18 require parental consent.
• Must have a valid mobile number and email address linked to their VidyaVriti account.
• VidyaVriti employees, contractors, interns, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
• Winners must be able to provide valid government-issued photo ID for prize delivery verification.

8. Contest Rules

All participants must adhere to the following rules to ensure a fair competition for everyone:

General Rules

1. Each participant is allowed only ONE attempt per edition. Duplicate attempts will be disqualified.
2. Each registered account can be used by only one individual. Account sharing is strictly prohibited.
3. The test must be completed in a single session. Closing the browser tab or app will not pause the timer — it will continue running.
4. All questions must be answered within the 60-minute window. Unanswered questions at time expiry are treated as skipped (0 marks).
5. Participants must not use any unfair means, external resources, books, the internet, or assistance from another person during the test.
6. Participants must not use any screen-recording, automation, or AI tools during the test.
7. The test is to be attempted on a personal device (smartphone, tablet, or laptop/desktop) registered to the participant.

Technical Rules

• A stable internet connection of at least 1 Mbps is recommended.
• VidyaVriti is not responsible for connectivity issues, device failures, or power outages on the participant's end.
• If the platform crashes due to a server-side issue, VidyaVriti will take appropriate corrective action at its discretion.
• Do not refresh the page during the test — answers in progress may be lost.
• Use only the official VidyaVriti website or app to take the test.

Code of Conduct

• Any form of cheating, collusion, or unfair means will result in immediate disqualification.
• Sharing questions or answer keys during the contest window is strictly prohibited.
• Participants must not create fake accounts or use VPNs to manipulate geographic eligibility.
• Respectful conduct towards other participants and VidyaVriti staff is mandatory.

9. Disqualification Policy

VidyaVriti reserves the right to disqualify any participant found violating the contest rules. Disqualification may occur during or after the contest window.

Grounds for Disqualification

• Multiple accounts or attempt duplication detected
• Use of automation tools, bots, or AI assistance during the test
• Sharing questions or colluding with other participants
• VPN or proxy usage to bypass geographic restrictions
• Providing false information in the account profile
• Inability to verify identity for prize delivery
• Any conduct deemed unfair by VidyaVriti's review team

Appeals

Disqualified participants may raise a dispute within 48 hours of receiving the notification by writing to support@vidyavriti.com with the subject line “Fun Friday Disqualification Appeal”. VidyaVriti's decision after review shall be final and binding.

10. Prize Delivery

Winners will be contacted via their registered email address within 3 working days of the official winner announcement. Prizes will be dispatched within 15 working days post-verification.

Verification Process

1. Winners will receive an email notification with further instructions.
2. Winners must respond within 7 days with valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport, or Voter ID).
3. Winners must provide a valid delivery address within India.
4. VidyaVriti will verify the identity and confirm the prize before dispatch.
5. If a winner fails to respond within 7 days or fails identity verification, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to the next eligible participant.

Delivery Details

• Prizes are shipped only to addresses within India.
• Delivery timelines may vary based on location and logistics partner availability.
• VidyaVriti is not liable for delays caused by courier services or force majeure events.
• Undelivered prizes due to incorrect address provided by the winner will not be re-dispatched without the winner bearing re-shipping costs.

11. Terms & Conditions

By participating in Fun Friday, you agree to the following terms and conditions in full:

1. Participation constitutes acceptance of all Fun Friday rules, terms, and VidyaVriti's decisions.
2. VidyaVriti reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify any edition of Fun Friday at any time without prior notice.
3. VidyaVriti's decision regarding rankings, winners, prize allocation, and disqualification is final and binding.
4. VidyaVriti may use winners' names, photographs, and testimonials for promotional purposes across digital channels, unless explicitly opted out in writing.
5. Prizes are subject to availability. In case a specific prize becomes unavailable, VidyaVriti may substitute it with an item of equal or greater value at its discretion.
6. VidyaVriti shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect losses, injuries, or damages arising from participation in Fun Friday.
7. The contest is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
8. VidyaVriti reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page.

12. Privacy & Data

Participation in Fun Friday involves the collection and processing of certain personal data. By registering, you consent to the following:

• Your name, email, phone number, and test performance data are collected to administer the contest.
• Your score and rank are shared privately via email.
• Winner names and general location may be shared publicly in winner announcements.
• Your data is processed in accordance with VidyaVriti's Privacy Policy.
• You may request deletion of your contest performance data by contacting support@vidyavriti.com after the contest ends.

13. Dispute Resolution

VidyaVriti is committed to resolving disputes fairly and transparently. If you believe there has been an error in your score, rank, or prize, follow this process:

1. Raise a dispute within 48 hours of receiving your result email on June 15, 2026.
2. Email support@vidyavriti.com with subject "Fun Friday Dispute — [Your Name] — Edition [X]".
3. Include your registered email, submission time, and a detailed description of the issue.
4. VidyaVriti will review the dispute within 5 working days.
5. VidyaVriti's decision after review is final and cannot be further appealed.

Disputes raised after 48 hours of result email delivery will not be considered. Score-related disputes must include specific question references.
